Rooted in practical craft.

Black Sapling Studios is a small maker’s studio in Kingsland, Georgia. The apothecary is the active storefront: goat milk soaps and room and linen sprays built around original scent profiles, clear ingredient information, and small-batch production.

We develop each scent as an atmosphere rather than a generic fragrance. Cottage Comfort, Gentle Clarity, Campfire Cozy, Brazilian Mint Grove, Dewfall Cedar Garden, and Sunrise Poppy Crumb form the permanent collection. Autumn Winds and Winter Garlands return seasonally.

Made locally. Carried thoughtfully.

Reading Room is exclusive to Leaf & Ledger, and Rosewood is exclusive to Rosewood Antiques. Both signature scents were created for the Kingsland shops that inspired them.

The wider studio.

Leather work now lives as an archive and limited commission practice rather than a stocked retail line. Candles and working-hand salves remain in development and will release only when their performance, labeling, and production systems meet the studio standard.
